The road to you.

Love is a complex, twisting maze

Further complicated, for we have no guide

There’s no road map for the route ahead

Dead ends epitomise the paths I’ve tried

Without signposts pointing the way,

The lovelorn fall further behind.

Love can be so unforgiving

For those who are travelling blind

Traversing the heights of passion,

From the lonely valleys of despair,

With hearts continually beating,

Searching for someone's life to share.

We'll never know what’s coming next,

Wading slowly through the ebb and flow,

But we’re aware that this pain we feel

Is worth love's highs and lows.

With faith, hope, and deep devotion,

Navigating only by the starlight above,

Every turn of this tortuous maze

Brings me closer to you, and your love
